About the show:

The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast-paced, rollicking ride as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine all 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. A wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.

adamsullivanAbout our director:

Nathan Adam Sullivan, an Arkansas native, received his BA in Theatre in '02 from Harding University in Searcy, AR. From 2003-2008, he worked as the Assistant Technical Director for Harding’s Theatre Program and as Scenic Designer/Technical Director for Searcy Summer Dinner Theatre (SSDT). While in AR, his directing credits included Oleanna, The Woman in Black, and Wit for HU Theatre and Jake’s Women for SSDT.

Adam and his wife Elizabeth became residents of Kernersville in May ’08. Since then, his NC directing credits include The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (CTG); Butterflies Are Free and Rounding Third for Open Space Café Theatre; and Plaza Suite (RSVP Community Theatre).

Having joined the KLT family with his scenic design for 2008's The Christmas Bus, Adam then made his KLT directorial debut with the highly-successful North Carolina premiere of Don’t Cry for Me, Margaret Mitchell, by North Carolina authors Virginia Cate and Duke Ernsberger. His first play, Crier Tuck, was recently selected as the winner of the N.C. New Play Project and was produced in Greensboro. He is pleased to return to work with the Folly stage and KLT on "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon."
